Ted Amberg

President & CEO

Ted got his start in business at an early age when he began performing
magic at parties and corporate events at age 14. He attended MSU majoring in Business and marketing while still running his newly formed company, Amberg
Entertainment.
 
Over the last 11 years, Ted has built the company into a household name in
Springfield while maintaining steady growth in the company regionally and
nationally. In 2006 Amberg Entertainment won the Curtis W. Strube Small Business of the Year award and Ted became the youngest business owner in the awards history at the age of 29.
 
Ted has also been honored to be a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award and
the company was chosen along with the Springfield Cardinals as the 2007 Best Place to Work.

Outside of the office, Ted Sits on the Executive Board of Directors for the Ozark Regional YMCA where he is chairman for the "Strong Kids Campaign". He also sits on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army and is a chairperson on the American Cancer Societies "Cattle Barons Ball" for 2009/2010. Ted and his wife Heather have three wonderful children and he enjoys serving as the den leader for his son's cub scout den. He is an avid golfer and he enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.

Heather Amberg

Senior Vice President

Heather has been with the company since its inception and has been fundamental in many of the aspects of its growth. Ted likes to call her his "grounding rod" as someone who keeps his visions in reality check. Heather wears several hats in the office and handles customer logistics, as well as logistics for our crew members heading out to events. Heather is a proud mother of three and enjoys spending time with the family, traveling and reading.

Micki McShane

Vice President of Sales and Customer Relations

Micki has been at Amberg Entertainment since 2005. Originally a sales associate, she has since advanced to senior management and is a crucial part of the day to day operations at Amberg. Micki received her degree in Hospitality Management from MSU. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family as well as traveling. Micki and her husband, Troy, are proud parents to their daughter and enjoy spending time with her.

Brandon Bohannon

Director of Technology

Brandon began his career with Amberg in 2005 and was quickly promoted to Director of Technology. He redesigned our in-house software and is in the process of creating new software for multiple industries. This is pretty big stuff since getting his first computer in 1991 and being almost completely self -taught! Brandon is married to his wife Nicki, and together they have three daughters ages 5, 3, and 1. Outside of work Brandon is very involved in church with the worship team and helping with the youth ministry. He also enjoys working on cars, NASCAR, and do-it-yourself home improvement.

Rick Young

Director of Operations

Rick began working at Amberg Entertainment as the assistant warehouse manager. His leadership and decision making skills earned him a quick promotions to Director of Operations. In his free time he enjoys bowling, playing pool on Pogo.com and spending time with his 4 kids.

Junior Hughes

Director of Field Operations

Junior began his career at Amberg Entertainment as part time event staff. When a full time position became available, Junior was an obviouse choice to fill it. Junior enjoys spending time with his family. He has 2 kids, ages 5 & 3. Junior fights amateur MMA and hopes to one day go Pro. He also enjoys bowling and being outside.

Tabatha Smith

Office Manager

Tabatha is the newest addition to our team. She was born and raised here in Springfield, and she is excited to be working with her neighbors to make their events the very best they can be. Tabatha spends her free time with her son. She enjoys rediscovering the world through him.

Steve Brooks

Head of Casino Services

Steve has been in public relations all his life and loves to meet new people. He has been in the gaming business for over 19 years from a dealer to an instructor to a pit boss. He currently still trains dealers all around the U.S. He also works with commercial truck fleets at Jenkins Diesel Power Inc, and has been a fulltime employee there since Jan 2000. He loves to work one on one with business owners all around the U.S. His hobbies are spending weekends at the lake on his boat. Playing softball, volleyball or anything else that would be considered an outside sport. He loves the outdoors and loves a challenge. Steve was born in Chicago and grew up in Wisconsin. For the past 14 years. Steve has called Springfield Mo home. He has two great kids, and sometime in the future he plans on retiring right here on one of our Missouri lakes.

Jim Warner

Director of Catering

Jim has been overseeing the Catering Dept. for the last 3 seasons. Since taking over, clients rave about the excellence of the menu! He makes sure that every detail is given full attention. Let Amberg Entertainment cater your event today to find out what all the talk is about!

Jim enjoys hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his family. He has 5 children and 10 grandchildren which keep him very busy!
